 Courtyards spill into other courtyards, and touches of the polychromed colonial frescos are seen everywhere, including the rooms. A colonial gem of the first order that took years to restore. The rooms are beautifully decorated with tile floors, antiques in some, original paintings in others. The beds boast handsome coverings with the colors and designs of traditional Talavera pottery.

Each one of our spacious rooms is different from the others in size and furnishings. And the building's historic role in Puebla is visible in many of these rooms such as in the original frescoes which have been beautifully restored.

RESTAURANTS & LOUNGES:
Our two restaurants El Convento and Azulejos serve Mexican and international cuisine and the Las Novicias bar, just off the reception area, is a great gathering place with comfortable groupings of tables.
El Convento is an elegant restaurant decorated with original seventeenth-century paintings and serving international as well as Mexican nouvelle cuisine.
Azulejos is situated in one of our courtyards, serving breakfast as well as Mexican and international fare later in the day, including the famous dishes from Puebla cuisine. The kitchen is beautifully decorated with the traditional Talavera tiles.
Las Novicias with its magnificent mural and bar top which is an antique piece brought in from India. Live music is provided for entertainment on weekends.
There is also excellent and affordable 24-hour in-room dining.
